Tile to metal is the job we do most. The tiles come off into bins on site, the timber underneath gets checked and fixed, and a new Colorbond roof goes on with new battens and new flashings.
The tile bins are gone when the new roof is on, and the scrap goes with us when the job is finished.

How we do tile to metal conversions
The timber is the job
Once the tiles are off you can see what's been holding them up. Sagging or rotten timber gets fixed before anything else happens. Sheet over it and the new roof inherits the old problem.
New battens, every time
New 40mm top-hat battens go on every roof. We never screw into the old ones, so every fixing goes into new steel.
No silicone holding it together
Ridge capping and wall flashings are fitted properly, and every flashing on the roof is new. Nothing depends on a bead of sealant.

Free inspection, measure and quote
We come out, get on the roof and measure up. The quote is back to you within 2 days, at a fixed price.

Materials on site
Happy with the quote? We get the materials there. Most jobs start within 1 to 2 weeks.
- 03
Old roof off
The old roof comes off and goes away with us. For tile roofs, tile bins are on site and gone when the new roof is on.
- 04
New roof on
Timber fixed, new battens, new flashings, new Colorbond. A standard re-roof takes about 2 days, or 3 to 4 with fascia and gutters.
- 05
Clean-up
Magnet sweep for screws, scrap metal taken on completion, and the site left clean.
